Paleo Apple Crisp

Ingredients
  1. 4 cups of apples, peeled, cored and cut into chunks
  2. 1/4 cup full fat coconut milk
  3. 2 tsp of lemon juice
  4. 2 TBS pure maple syrup
  5. 1 TBS coconut sugar
  6. 1 tsp cinnamon
  7. 1/2 tsp allspice
  8. Crumble Topping
  9. 1/4 cup coconut flour
  10. 1/4 cup almond flour
  11. 3-4 TBS chopped nuts
  12. 1 TBS coconut sugar
  13. 3 TBS coconut oil
  14. Pinch of salt
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven 375-degrees
  2. In a medium bowl, combine apples, lemon juice, coconut milk, maple syrup, coconut sugar, cinnamon and allspice
  3. In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients for the crumble-mix with your hands until mixture is crumbly. If it's too dry add little more coconut oil
  4. Grease an 8x8 baking dish or pie pan
  5. Pour the apple mixture into the pan
  6. Evenly sprinkle the Crumble Topping over the apples
  7. Bake about 20-25 minutes, or until apples are tender
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
  1. This would be really tasty with a vanilla coconut "ice cream."
